I adopted the habit of tracking daily expenses because the cost of living in Australia is high and I don’t want to over consume. To make that process more enjoyable, I selected the playful style to design and chose capybara as the visual symbol to represent a relaxed attitude and a sense of universal wisdom about personal finance and bring this spirit to all potential users.
I recreated some classic capy memes across different pages to motivate users to engage with the apps and discover all of them.
The redesign improves visual clarity and uses promo-style tags to highlight food type and availability, helping users navigate and act faster.
Just like the Rainbow Spirit Festival brings people together, my design draws inspiration from the constellations of the universe. Each person’s soul is a unique, shining star, and when kindred spirits gather, they form the power of a constellation—the resonance of their souls. This design incorporates elements of psychedelic art, complemented by a sans-serif font to add a touch of contemporary style.
